Somerset and Dorset Censuses

The Society can provide printed copies of any page from any of the Censuses, 1841 - 1901, for either Somerset or Dorset. Please note this is not a search service, a page reference must be provided.

Please see our Publications section for details of Census Indexes produced by the Society.

The standard fee is £2.00 per page.

Please address all your enquiries , or requests for an estimate, to

All postal enquiries and requests should be accompanied by a large envelope, self addressed and stamped for return, or additional payment.

All enquiries from members of the Society must quote the membership number, in order to qualify for the reduced rates and special searches.

Sterling cheques, money orders and Postal Orders should be made payable to the S&DFHS.
