The Society is regularly represented at a number of Open Days and Family History Fairs organised by other Societies. Click here for a list of events at which you can come and meet us.

 

Where to meet us:

The Society Headquarters at Sherborne is open on Monday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Click here for details.

The Waterfront Museum on Poole Quay has a morning which specialises in family history every Thursday from 10.00a.m. to 1.00p.m. at which The SDFHS are well represented. You are welcome to visit, no appointment necessary.

Mid-Somerset Group have a team who help at the Wells Museum Library on Wednesdays.

The Society suggests that if you contact another Member by e-mail, for whatever reason, you might like to consider including your postal address as well as your e-mail address, which for technical reasons can become corrupted, thus making it impossible for the recipient to reply to you.

For Data Protection requirements, it is not the Society's policy to provide enquirers with Members' addresses.
