PLEASE NOTE that from 1 April 2012 the Devon Record Office in Exeter will be closed on Mondays and the North Devon Record Office in Barnstaple will be closed on Wednesdays.

PLEASE NOTE that from 1 April 2012 the Devon Record Office in Exeter will be closed on Mondays and the North Devon Record Office in Barnstaple will be closed on Wednesdays. These changes will allow us to focus on improving public access to our collections by concentrating on digitisation, increasing online availability of documents, reducing our cataloguing backlogs and working with communities to develop better access to their archives
